FAQ

Your questions, answered.

Some of the questions people ask before getting in touch. If yours isn’t here, a free intro call is a good place to ask it.

What is psychosexual and relationship therapy?

Psychosexual and relationship therapy (PRT) is a focused, evidence-based discipline trained specifically in the psychology, physiology and relational dynamics of sex and intimacy. Most therapists aren’t trained to go there. Dominique is a COSRT accredited psychosexual and relationship therapist.

What do people come to you with?

Some of the most common reasons are conflict and relational patterns, painful sex, differences in libido, lack of connection and intimacy, erection difficulties, rupture and repair work, shame around sex and desire, rapid ejaculation, attachment wounding, poor communication, neurodiversity in relationships and ethical non-monogamy.

Is it confidential?

Yes. All enquiries are confidential.

Are you a sex therapist or a couples therapist?

Both. Some people are couples therapists, others are sex therapists. I am both. I work with what’s going on sexually and what’s going on in the relationship.

Who do you work with?

Individuals, couples and more than couples, and all genders, sexual orientations, relationship styles, kinks, lifestyles and backgrounds.

My partner isn’t sure about therapy. Can I come on my own?

Yes. We can talk this through on a free intro call.

Where are you based? Can we meet online?

I’m based in Bristol, UK. I work in person in Bristol and online.
